User's Guide Introduction

In the world of cutting wood, there are a wide variety of jobs a chainsaw has to tackle. Whether you’re the Average Joe and just need something for around the house or you’re a professional making a living by sawing logs, a chainsaw is an absolute necessity. Now there’s a big difference between cutting some fallen branches after a decent storm and cutting down whole trees throughout the day. This is why Stihl has a wide variety of models to fit the job you need done. This is where I come to help explain the difference.

I’m going to break this down depending on what you need and the level of experience you have. Starting off with Barney-Style to help those Average Joe’s who have just started using a chainsaw or have never used a chainsaw, and that’s alright! You are part of the reason I have a job, and I appreciate that; I really do! I am here to serve. Next, taking a step up to what’s considered “Mid Users”, these are the guys, and gals, on farms and similar locations who cut up a decent amount of wood but not the amount pro’s go through. Finally, I’m going to attempt to help out you pro’s out there that know the ins and outs of a chainsaw and know exactly what you need. For y’all, I’m going to give you the specs and tech that’s being put in these new machines that are specifically designed for the hard-working Joe who goes home covered in sweat and sawdust. Not so much your co-worker John who spends the whole day in the, well, Port-a-John.

Now I’m not sure about y’all, but one of the traits I got from my Dad was reading up reviews until I am confident in what I’m buying. If that’s you then hey it’s nice to find a like-minded individual. If not, then I hope I can help you find what you’re looking for. With this blog, I am here for the everyday, proud American. Personally, it doesn’t matter if you’re stuck in a cubical all day and do some work around the yard or if you’re blue-collar and come home to a wife complaining about how much you stink. Whenever I come home like that, I throw my shirt on the floor, inhale as deep as I can, and triumphally yell, “Smells like VICTORY!” But anyway, back to the point. What does matter to me is helping you out and giving you the information you need to get the job done. So, I hope these articles come in handy to you, you get a chuckle or two out of it, and you let me know what else you’d like to know and I’ll see what I can do.
